Dr Mukesh Shukla joined M.I.T.M., Ujjain  as a director to share his wide experience as a pioneer academician. Dr Mukesh Shukla earned his Ph.D.in 2004 from S.G.S.I.T.S., Indore under QIP in the field of Structural Engineering. He did his graduation(B.E.) in civil engineering from N.I.T.K. Surathkal IN 1985 and post graduation (M.E.) in structural engineering from M.N.N.I.T. Allahabad in1989. He has about 23 years teaching and field experience wiith 18 years teaching carrier at B.I.E.T. Jhansi he also served as head of the department of civil engineering in B.I.E.T, Jhansi, a well reputed govt. engineering institute of U.P.

Dr Mukesh Shukla worked in different administrative capacities as officer in charge construction, maintenance, horticulture ,security and secretary, building works committee in BI.E.T, Jhansi and contributed in over all development of this institute.

He has published more than 15 research papers in national/international journals and conferences. He  has organised no of seminars/conferences and training to field engineers. Presently one student is pursuing his Ph.D. under his guidance.

He also worked as secretary and treasurer of Jhansi Engineers Association. He has been providing design and  consultancy services to Govt. and private organisations for last twenty years in the field of structural engineering. He is a life member of ISTE.
